We are in a time of crisis, and the crisis is worldwide. The extremely last thing we require is the U.S. making more war on countries and dropping more bombs on foreigners who never harmed the people of the U.S.A..
Sen. Burr, Sen. Tillis and Rep. McHenry, your vote against a cut of 10% from the U.S. military spending plan deeply harmed the people of the countries where we are making war.
And if you do not care about foreigners living (or trying to live) under our bombs, then perhaps you might appreciate the people right here at home. With record unemployment, record lack of health insurance/health care and record lack of cost effective housing, there are lots of, lots of people here in the USA who might have utilized those funds right here inside our nation. Instead, they will go hungry, have bad quality schools, lack access to suitable healthcare, have record joblessness and often end up homeless.
And a meager 10% of the military budget plan might have gone a long method towards dealing with those issues.
