Marceleen “Marci” Faye Hendrick Responsibility Raleigh-Marceleen” Marci”Faye Hendrick Duty, age 93, was born in Raleigh, N.C. and she passed away on October 20, 2020 while being looked after at Transitions LifeCare/Hospice Home. Prior to that, she was a citizen of Phoenix Assisted Care in Cary, N.C. since February 2017. She was a citizen of Asheville, N.C. from 1967 until 2016 living in the Buena Vista Forest location. She when stated that it would take a team of horses to drag her far from the lovely and stunning mountains that surrounded her home!She retired from the Buncombe County Tax Workplace in 1999 after 18 years in the mapping department. Prior to this position, she held different occupations over the years including insurance coverage salesperson, clerk at NCDMV, house health care supplier, Avis-Rent-A-Car representative, parts sales representative at Bob Ledford’s RV’s and Campers and bank teller. She graduated from Hugh Morrison High School in Raleigh where she played in the marching band.Marci loved her family and did all she might do to motivate and assist each member of the family. She specifically enjoyed her church family at the Biltmore Church of Christ in Asheville, and they enjoyed her. Marci was an excellent cook, she delighted in eating in restaurants with good friends, reading, gardening, traveling and she hardly ever stopped working to call or compose notes of support to friends and family. She belonged to the Golden Girls Aviation Group and the Western N.C. Pilots Association in Asheville.Marci is made it through by her child, Donna Responsibility Moffitt and son-in-law, Tom Moffitt; her son David Dwight Task and daughter-in-law, Donna Weeks Task; and son-in-law, Cliff Miller, the other half of her other child, Dvonne “Dee” Responsibility Miller who predeceased her in 2016. Her grandchildren consist of Archie St. John and partner Meghan Welch, Jessie and James Miller, Megan Stevens, Brett Walkup, Kenneth Moffitt and partner Shawna, Jessica Faulkner and partner Austin and James Duty. Her excellent grandchildren consist of Heather Woods, McKayla Woods, Aiden Stevens, Emmylou St. John, Marshall Moffitt and Hannah Grace Moffitt. She has one great-great grandchild, Jesse, along with numerous nieces and nephews.The household is planning a memorial celebration of life service next spring or summertime at the Biltmore Church of Christ in Asheville. Memorials might be made to the Biltmore Church of Christ, 823 Fairview Street, Asheville, N.C. 28803 or Transitions LifeCare/Hospice House, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, N.C. 27607.
