A vinyl record pressing plant will quickly be up-and-running on the primary flooring of the Asheville Citizen-Times building.
The Asheville-based record company is called Citizen Vinyl.
It will push records for music labels huge and small. The business is likewise producing a surrounding bar and coffee shop.
It will have a plexi-glass partition – enabling visitors to see inside the production location.
“Building is well under method,” Gar Ragland with Resident Vinyl told News 13. “We plan to open in mid-September for the public. We’ll have a vinyl-themed craft cocktail bar and a farm-to-table coffee shop.”
Financiers state around $2 million is entering into the job
The group is also renewing the historical WWNC radio station on the third flooring.
