ASHEVILLE, NC (WSPA)– Asheville Authorities Department authorities are investigating a stabbing that occurred early Sunday early morning.
According to a news release, officers reacted to a stabbing on Bartlett Street at around 2:50 a.m. and found a male victim suffering from multiple stab injuries.
The victim was then required to Mission Hospital, where he was being dealt with for non lethal injuries.
During an investigation, officers figure out that a battle happened in between a group of individuals near the bus stop at the corner of Bartlett Street and Ora Street.
The Crook Investigations Section is investigating the case and a single person of interest has been identified.
According to the release, detectives are working to identify other individuals associated with the event.
